BASS PLAYER
 

I'm a bass player since 1986 and band member of Jamgrass Band "NCK". I've grown-up musically with bluegrass, country music and blues, and I evolved towards new acoustic music, jazz and funk together with the rest of the band, exploring new wider limits. NCK is mainly a "live band" that is continously touring and dating across Italy with over 200 live concerts in theaters, clubs, radio stations and festivals. We also finally toured the U.S.A. this last october and the audiences were really happening! (see below) Our latest project is promoting the 25th years cd "Jamgrass" and preparing the tunes for our next recording effort, coming soon to you!

CURRENT SETUP:

In the past years I had A beautiful 4-string IBANEZ Musician and a "classic of the classics" FENDER Jazz. Then master craftman Luigi Avignonesi made for me the ultimate "dream 5-string bass": (below) headless neck-through-body birds'eye maple with EMG active jazz-type pickups, beautiful to see but especially to play it!

Recently I've added a 4 string fretless Aria portable bass, that I use in a standing position like a double bass!
